Dr. Cassie Pasquariello Wallace works in private practice in San Diego providing counseling, and sport and performance psychology services to adolescent and adult populations. She oversees the development and implementation of mental health services, performance psychology training, and corporate health and wellness services for Pasquariello Wallace Therapy & Consulting. As a licensed psychologist and certified mental performance consultant (CMPC) through the Association of Applied Sport Psychology, she is dually trained in mental health and performance psychology. Dr. Pasquariello Wallace is currently licensed as a psychologist in California, Washington, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Connecticut. She is listed on the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee Mental Health and Mental Performance Directories. She provides individual psychological sessions, therapy camp, team trainings, key note presentations, consulting and educational workshops for athletic teams, parents, corporate teams and corporate administrators, and key personnel regarding the psychological well-being of individuals, performance, and emerging team needs.
Through her twenty years of experience working with elite athletes, professionals, and performers, Dr. Pasquariello Wallace has developed a strong commitment to working from a life skills and counseling sport psychology perspective. She is committed to multicultural issues and to working effectively with an increasingly diverse population. She has embraced the community psychology model as a means to reach individuals who typically face barriers to access treatment and has strived to develop and facilitate well-being programs for elite performers while partnering with key stakeholders to increase their model of well-being.
Prior to her return to California, Dr. Pasquariello Wallace served as the Director of Clinical & Sport Psychology for the University of Wisconsin Department of Athletics from 2019-2021. Previously, Dr. Pasquariello Wallace served as the Director of Counseling & Sport Psychology for the University of Washington Department of Athletics from 2015-2018. Dr. Pasquariello Wallace earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science at Pacific Union College where she played basketball and volleyball, before completing both a Master of Education degree in Counseling Psychology (Sport Psychology Specialization) at Boston University and a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed her Doctoral Degree in Counseling Psychology (APA-Accredited) with a concentration in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed her Psychology Predoctoral Internship (APA-Accredited) and Postdoctoral Fellowship at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she served as the CAPS liaison to UCSB Athletics.
